The Meloni government is adrift, stranded by the referendum result,
reeling uncertainly, lapped by the undertow that threatens to drag it
back into troubled waters, from which, in truth, it appears not to have
escaped, due to the inconsistency of its political action. To understand
its situation, we must retrace the steps of these past four years, and
doing so takes little time, demonstrating the inconsistency of a
government that will be remembered as that of Giorgia and her relatives
and friends, who did so much for them but nothing for the country.
For this reason, the government survives and intends to last for the
entire legislature, with the sole purpose of allowing those it has
placed in all positions of power for profit to remain in office as long
as possible, regardless of their incompetence or competence. This
applies to ministers and undersecretaries, but also and especially to
the thousands of paid positions and positions in institutions and all
places controlled, directly or indirectly, by politicians. From fascism,
they have inherited the rotten climate of degradation, dissolution, and
the end of a twilight regime that barely had time to consolidate and is
already rotten, stale, and outdated.
Wages are in free fall and have lost more than 8% of their purchasing
power of three years ago; investment has stagnated, the cost of living
has skyrocketed, and taxes have risen, while the services provided have
further deteriorated. Healthcare in particular is in dire straits, with
the entire system falling apart under the weight of staff shortages and
growing inefficiency. The government has acceded to Trump's call for the
dismantling of welfare and the handing over of healthcare and assistance
to private individuals.
While healthcare is in mourning, schools and universities are not
laughing, nor is research, deprived of the resources, programs, and
manpower needed to renew themselves and offer more efficient services,
qualitatively acceptable training, and, above all, attention to the
younger generations. Left to their own devices, bereft of prospects,
lacking places to gather, grow, engage in dialogue, and experience
collaboration and solidarity, they are left to their own devices, bored
and grouped together in packs that attack and kill the first "different"
person they encounter, perhaps because they are dark-skinned.
Security is certainly the area where the government has recorded its
greatest failures, and in this regard it has issued no fewer than five
decrees, each worse than the last, each more ineffective and
liberticidal than the last, with no practical effect, but a powerful
testimony to the government's ferocity and repressive capabilities.
The crisis of narrative
What has entered into crisis is the narrative crafted to deceive voters
who turned out to votethat segment of the Italian population frightened
by diversity and frustrated by growing poverty, anguished by the lack of
prospects, and crushed by events and decisions impacting their daily
lives. They see immigrants as enemies, those who threaten their
well-being and tranquility, who fuel violence to appropriate the few
resources available.
All this is happening while the country is depopulating and losing its
young people, who emigrate at the rate of half a million a year in
search of better wages and more acceptable living and working
conditions. Services for the surviving population are degrading, the
banking system is being restructured and financial profits are growing,
companies are distributing dividends rather than investing, and entire
industrial and manufacturing chains (Electrolux, range hoods, and
appliances) are being dismantled and relocated: there are no limits to
the exploitation of the workforce.
Faced with what is happening, the so-called Ministry of Made in Italy
and its ridiculous minister are concocting jokes and declaring open
negotiations, which are opportunities to promote wine at best. This
tendency to drink seems to be common in government circles, especially
in the Ministry of Justice, where spritzes are served every morning. The
tale of persecution, of conspiracies targeting members of the
government, of the persecution of magistrates no longer holds up in the
face of evidence, of sentences handed down or announced, while the
reasons for obvious criminal collusion or self-reports of illustrious
ministers' love affairs and unfaithful relationships remain unknown.
The Maga Bubble
To further its political project, the Black International, of which the
Prime Minister is honored to be a member, is exposing its ravings and
collusion with Palantir's actions to protect white supremacy, racism,
and a new form of AI-driven eugenics, serving a millenarian and
reactionary project that intertwines the scum, thought, and ravings of
Tolkien with Judaism and the most fanatical neo-evangelical Christianity
that plans Armageddon.
As for us, we are not fascinated by the occult, nor by the
pseudo-religious ideology we abhor. We do not need a replacement
ideology to revive the glories of the fascist one, defeated and
condemned by history. Instead, we are supporters of dialectics and class
struggle, and we have a material and reasoned vision of human evolution.
Therefore, we maintain a firm grounding in reality and thus we
tirelessly draw attention to real problems:
we know that a very tough battle for hegemony is underway with the
United States trying to keep its imperial domination alive at all costs;
we know that during the crisis of empires, religions or theological
constructs, movements of thought, which claim to manage the transition
and lead to salvation, spread and impose themselves;
we know we are experiencing a paradigm shift characterized by the
emergence of a multipolar world made up of diverse and ever-evolving
centers of power, with continental-sized entities competing with each
other and smaller ones asserting their dignity, autonomy, and sovereignty;
We share the idea of a plural world, of a society open to discussion and
cooperation, based on collaboration and mutual interest.
For these reasons we reject war and fight for peace, convinced as we are
that human beings will find a balance between mutual interests that will
allow them to escape mutual destruction, allowing all to enjoy freedom
from want and thus to strive for equality, because the salvation of the
human race lies in equal rights and duties.
Getting rid of the United States
The configuration assumed by US hegemony makes it incompatible with a
world that seeks to prevent the quest for hegemony from escalating to
nuclear conflict. For this reason, Europe must rebuild itself on a
foundation of solidarity and establish equal relations with other
supranational entities, in the name of mutual interest. For this reason,
war must be banned and the foundations laid for a more just world that
safeguards the life and well-being of all. This world is possible as
well as desirable; this is the meaning we give to the potential
realization of organized anarchy, that is, an ordered system of
universal participation in the collective management of society.
The alternative to this aspiration risks being a world ordered and
managed by AI, placed at the service of a predatory elite that takes
possession of everything: life, body, soul, thoughts, dreams,
aspirations, that lives above the law, to which everything is permitted,
that satisfies every desire, even the most abject and unmentionable: in
other words, a world reduced to Epstein's island, where every desire is
realizable and possible, especially that of possessing the bodies and
lives of others, enslaving, and commodifying human beings.
To prevent this from happening, we must cleanse and eliminate those
thought patterns tainted by white supremacy, racial supremacy, and the
domination of one human being over another. We must recover our own
autonomy of thought, starting by rejecting false alternatives,
constituted by the image of a classless society where one's position
depends exclusively on a clique of like-minded individuals, sharing a
clan affiliation and, in the name of this clan, operating within
society, exercising and managing power. This was the mistake of the
Italian left, which, seeking to innovate and "overcome ideology,"
adopted the choices of the so-called American democratic left, devoid of
class objectives, strategy, and ideological tensions.
Emancipation from the exploitation of man by man (and woman) will be the
work of workers themselves, who, through their participation, their
critical input, and their aspirations, will be able to shape a society
of solidarity, capable of achieving a fair distribution of resources and
collective participation in the management of society.
Reflections on the fascist government currently ruling the country have
apparently led us to broader reflections that involve aspects of
international coexistence and the functioning of legal systems, as well
as of women and men. However, we are convinced that at least every now
and then it is worthwhile to shift our gaze to what is happening around
us and try to bring order, identify objectives and a path, at least one
possible one, to achieve them and create a better, more just, and more
humane world here on the planet.
