poor person or a migrant. The blame is always shifted to the corpse,

Fakir was a logistics worker, one of those sectors held afloat by 
underpaid, exhausted, and blackmail-able migrant labor. The same state 
that killed him by suffocating him on the ground is the same state that, 
every day, allows workers like him to be squeezed into warehouses 
without any real rights by unscrupulous bosses.

Let's call it by its name: state murder.

And the responsibility doesn't end with the two officers. They also call 
into question the healthcare workers who, as we see in the video, failed 
to activate a life-saving protocol-removing the two officers, as health 
authorities, from the dying victim. This complicit and conniving 
indifference stems from a climate of authoritarian and submissive 
subservience to

government policy, which in recent years has piece by piece built the 
framework that makes all this possible: the security decrees, the 
Gasparri decree, the Valditara decree, the extension of restrictions on 
the right to strike to the logistics sector-the same sector in which 
Fakir worked and was exploited. These are not isolated measures: they 
are part of a single strategy, decided upon at the table, to discipline 
those who work, those who protest, those who do not stay in their 
assigned positions. And today that strategy culminates with the criminal 
shield, just applied for the first time in Fakir's case: the legal 
guarantee that the police can kill without being held accountable. The 
state does not look the other way: it decides, it signs, it protects.

Nor is the timing a coincidence: while the government is mobilizing to 
pardon a jeweler who cold-bloodedly killed two robbers and wounded a 
third, legitimizing the owners' private "justice," the police kill a 
migrant worker and are covered up by law. On the one hand, they arm 
those who must defend their property; on the other, they shield those 
who repress those who have none. It's the same class warfare, waged from 
above, with double standards.

We don't expect a gesture of humanity from Salvini or the Meloni 
government: we already know where their solidarity will go, and it's not 
Fakir's family. We don't need it. We build truth and justice from the 
bottom up, together with those who mobilized at Pilastro the very 
evening of Fakir's murder, together with migrant workers, together with 
those who daily suffer the same exploitation that killed Fakir even 
before he knelt on the ground.

Side by side with Abderrahim Fakir's family. Side by side with our 
migrant brothers and sisters. Alongside those who work and are 
exploited, alongside those who resist.

No peace with the state that exploits and kills.
