The War on War coalition is calling for a weekend of mobilization on 
June 13, 14, and 15 against Eurosatory, the world's largest arms fair, 
which is being held from June 15 to 19 in Seine-Saint-Denis. This event 
will take place alongside the G7 summit in Évian. --- Eurosatory is an 
international trade fair held every two years near Paris, at the 
Villepinte Exhibition Center in Seine-Saint-Denis. War profiteers from 
around the world gather there to exhibit and showcase their most 
advanced technologies for killing, control, and repression. This fair is 
a veritable demonstration of the military-political arsenal available to 
the states that come to purchase it. Combat helicopters, drones, 
missiles, tanks, radars, small arms, surveillance technologies-almost 
everything is there.

French companies will, of course, be in the spotlight, with the 
best-known arms groups (Dassault, Safran, MBDA, Thales, Capgemini, etc.) 
but also numerous SMEs and startups. In total, France will be by far the 
most represented country, with over 700 French companies among the 
exhibitors. France is the world's second-largest arms exporter and 
intends to remain so!

A Weekend of Anti-Imperialist Mobilization
The trade show's marketing highlights "defense" solutions in a 
threatening world. Obviously, the only thing being defended here is the 
Western imperialist order, which is based on the exploitation of peoples 
and territories, and in which France plays a major role. Challenged and 
threatened by the struggles of the people it oppresses, Western 
imperialism is in crisis and is becoming more radical in order to 
survive. A boon for the merchants of death who will be exhibiting at 
Eurosatory.

As revolutionaries, we must do everything we can to disarm the war 
machine deployed by our own imperialism. Eurosatory gives us the 
opportunity to take concrete action from home.

That is why the Libertarian Communist Union (UCL) is joining the call 
from the anti-militarist coalition War on War to mobilize against the 
holding of the trade fair. While the details of the mobilization are not 
yet public at the time of writing, War on War has already announced a 
weekend of mobilization, discussions, meetings, training, and 
celebrations before the fair opens on Saturday, June 13, Sunday, June 
14, and Monday, June 15, 2026.

Waging war on war, from Villepinte to Évian. This will therefore be a 
weekend of struggle against imperialism for the UCL and all 
revolutionary activists. In Seine-Saint-Denis, protests against 
Eurosatory are taking place with the War on War coalition, and also in 
Évian against the G7 summit, which brings together the leaders of the 
seven largest Western powers (see the article in this issue: "Fascist 
G7, Libertarian Response!").
