Three days of meetings, music, art, theater, debates, resistance, and
collective participation: Brigata Basaglia's three days of
counterculture. ---- "ConTatto" returns on June 5, 6, and 7, 2026, at
Lock in Milan with a program spanning themes such as mental health,
anti-repression, neurodivergence, and the fight against all forms of
exclusion and institutionalization. ---- Brigata Basaglia is a social,
political, and cultural organization born from the need to build spaces
of mutualism, solidarity, and self-determination. Inspired by the
radical legacy of Franco Basaglia and his anti-mental asylum struggles,
it advances collective practices against marginalization, repression,
and the new forms of social control that still affect those considered
"outside the norm."
"ConTatto" aims to be an open and confrontational place where people can
meet, discuss, and imagine real alternatives to systems of exclusion. A
festival that focuses on mutual care, freedom, and the right of every
person to exist without being repressed, pathologized, or locked up.
The three days will feature concerts, performances, workshops, convivial
moments, book presentations, and discussion panels dedicated to mental
health, neurodivergence, prison, institutional violence, political
repression, and new forms of mental hospitalization. Artists, activists,
cultural workers, and local organizations committed to building
practices of resistance, social self-defense, and collective liberation
will participate.
"ConTatto" is a laboratory, a social counterculture workshop, a space
for encounter, conflict, and transformation. A collective experience of
listening, anger, creativity, and the desire for change, where culture
and criticism become tools of struggle and concrete possibilities for
building freer, more supportive, and more human relationships.
We look forward to seeing you, dismantling some cages and having fun
