The GKN eviction order confirms that the law is always on the side of
the bosses: it defends private property and represses workers'
struggles. In our view, the GKN's struggle is very important because
workers have been able to restore voice and strength to workers'
leadership in a historical period in which resignation and disengagement
seem to triumph. While not agreeing with some of their choices and
approaches, the Correspondence Committee of the Italian Anarchist
Federation, aware that only self-organization and direct action can be
effective in social conflict, expresses its solidarity with the GKN
workers and their struggle to defend their future.
