As anticipated by Police Minister Piantedosi, the national march for
Palestine on October 5 has been banned. ---- This ban, issued with
reference to the contents of the demonstration, is in line with the
desire for preventive repression of any form of dissent against anyone
who is fighting to counter the prospect of an increasingly imminent war.
---- It is an attempt to anticipate the state of war foreseen in the DdL
1660. Precisely for this reason, comparing ourselves with the other
realities with which we have decided to participate in the
demonstration, we believe that it is important to be in the square
despite the ban.
The modalities of our presence in the square will be defined later. As
far as we are concerned, we are not looking for a clash, but a
collective action carried out with conviction and intelligence.
