On September 30, the EAAK/LAE/ARAS gang organized another scene of 
tension and hooliganism, this time against comrades of the Anarchist 
Student Assembly Quieta Movere at the Aristotle University of 
Thessaloniki. This specific mechanism of internal repression of the 
student movement, which operates under the auspices of the EAAK trade 
union faction and the political organization of Popular Unity, has as 
its permanent goal the political sterilization of universities from any 
radical and unmediated element, after it tried unsuccessfully to provoke 
the comrades of the ASF Quieta Movere who were carrying out an 
intervention in view of the second Eleftheriakos Festival to be held on 
October 2-3, then attacked them and chased them around the Aristotle 
University of Thessaloniki campus.

The reason why this particular gang has chosen the role of the rabid dog 
of Greek universities is clear: they have no other means left to promote 
their goals beyond brute force and imposition. Goals that most often 
align with state and rectory dictates and with the financial interests 
of their top executives. Thus, this particular anti-anarchist mechanism 
has come to issue security announcements for internal consumption about 
some supposed - and never distributed - dark circles of anarchists who 
have targeted exclusively their own group, and then based on these 
announcements to target all of the libertarian and self-organized forces 
in the universities. The result of this condition is a roving antisocial 
troupe with the characteristics and equipment of a storm trooper that 
shows up at universities to bully anyone who doesn't play their narrative.

Within universities, we are experiencing a situation where, on the one 
hand, state aggression is taking on unprecedented proportions and, on 
the other, the student movement is in a state of decline, after a series 
of defeats in recent years. This is precisely the context in which such 
parastatal mechanisms of internal repression can be imposed and impose 
silence, mediation and apathy for the commons. In view of a very 
critical period for the good of Education and for political action 
within the asylum and especially in view of the anniversary of the 
Polytechnic University - an anniversary that the entire institutional 
left is trying to demoralize and devalue in a simple museum celebration 
- and especially recognizing last year's murderous attack by 200 armed 
helmeted ARAS/EAAK/LAE members against 30 anarchists while they were 
making political interventions in the area as the clearest example of 
what the role they have chosen to play leads to, it is more than ever 
necessary for these forces in universities that promote unmediated 
struggle and grassroots organization, that fight for libertarian values 
and ideals, to defend their territory and not cede an inch of land to 
the state, capital and their courtiers.
