Welcome to No Mine's Land! ---- From July 25 to 27, three days of 
meetings, debates, and other actions will take place near Echassières 
(03) and the mining project of the multinational Imerys. ---- The focus 
will, of course, be on the fight against the EMILI lithium mining 
project, which is scheduled to open at the Echassières site by 2030. But 
the challenge will also be to build or strengthen existing connections 
between the struggles opposing the revival of the mining industry, both 
in France and internationally. Issues related to the development of the 
digital society, the so-called energy "transition," European rearmament, 
the war in the Congo and post-colonial issues, pollution, and the 
protection of our living spaces, both here and elsewhere, will be addressed.

On Sunday, July 27, a demonstration will also be organized to express 
our opposition to the deadly mining industry projects. Neither here nor 
elsewhere, in solidarity with the struggles in Portugal, Niger, 
Mongolia, Argentina, Serbia, the Congo, Germany, and everywhere else the 
earth trembles to feed the appetite of those who advocate the indefinite 
exploitation of natural resources and the populations who depend on them.

The exact location of the meetings, access options, and the detailed 
program will be announced soon; we'll keep you posted! A Signal channel 
will also be set up a few days before the event. The StopMines03 team 
and the various groups that will be present on site (thank you so much 
to them, we couldn't have done anything without you) will also need help 
with various tasks throughout these three days, so we're counting on 
you. A task board will be available at the site reception.

A mixed-gender campsite and a single-sex area without cisgender men will 
be available. If you have any special needs (medical, dietary, 
psychological, etc.), you can indicate them in the registration form 
available on this site, which we encourage you all to complete to help 
us best prepare for your welcome. Admission to the site is free to help 
us finance these meetings (please bring your cash). We also ask that, 
during these meetings, you work with us to ensure that the neighbors are 
not disturbed too much and therefore to remain on site as much as 
possible (except during designated group times) and to respect the 
late-night hours.

A final word: We believe that anti-extractivist struggles, and more 
generally, those against industrial and technological societies, must 
imperatively integrate all emancipatory struggles, whether feminist, 
decolonial, or class-based. Discriminatory or violent comments or 
behavior have no place in our struggles, whether sexist, classist, 
racist, transphobic, or ableist. The Clermont-Ferrand Brigade du Kiff
