Dear Comrades,
 
     Greetins', a phone/fax/letter blitz is schedule for May 26,
1998 (9:00am est) this day was selected because of its historical
signifiance: Afrikan Slaves led by Denmark Vesey revolted against
U.S. Slavery -- 1822. Please forward this message to as many
supporters as possible, i believe we should also target the
politicians of new jersey. Bob Franks have introduce some type of
legislature concernin' sista assata & Robert Torricelli have amen
franks efforts. Lets began to think of ways to make examples of
one of these politicians for their continued support of
*COINTELPRO*, because this is what this amounts to. Supporters on
the east coast should began to get speakin' engagements schedule
of one of these politicians, whichever one we decide to target, &
began to protest where he will be speakin', hold demonstrations
at their local offices etc., at the same time these
demonstrations are takin' place on the east coast, we could
phone/fax/letter blitz that politician at that time as well. Just
some thoughts & ideas.
 
     Below is the name/address/phone/fax for the governor of new
jersey, along with a copy of the letter i will fax to the
governor.

Dear Governor Whitman:
 
     Greetings, as an activist in the Afrikan Community & a
prison activist in particular, i would like to bring to your
attention my concerns & support of Politicial Prisoners &
Prisoners of War held in this kountry & those who have been
driven out of this kountry into exile for fear of their lives.
Watching the wolves circling the prey, it's amazing how you &
other elected servants over-look documented facts, therefore, i
will share some of my research with you. In researching &
gathering information concerning *COINTELPRO* (1960's program
coordinated by the FBI) and how it operates, we are convinced its
in operation today. i would like to suggest the reading of Brian
Glick's book "War At Home"!! Again, we are not interested in
whether or not you believe *COINTELPRO* existed, because there is
living proof in 1998 of its poison (Geronimo Pratt).
 
     Any organization that challenged official policy was a
target of *COINTELPRO*, & covert actions were taken against them. 
There were some 2,370 officially approved *COINTELPRO* actions
that were admitted to the Senate Intelligence Committee, which
also revealed four main methods of *COINTELPRO*. 
 
  1. Infiltration of organizations with the main purpose to
     discredit and disrupt; 
 
  2. Psychological WarFare From the Outside, which included the
     FBI & police planting false media stories & published bogus
     leaflets & other publications in the name of the target
     groups, forged correspondence, spread misinformation about
     meetings, and events, set up pseudo movement groups run by
     government agents, the strong-arming of parents, employers,
     landlords, school officials & others to cause trouble for
     activists;
 
  3. Harassment through the Legal System, the FBI & police abused
     the legal system to harass dissidents and make them appear
     to be criminals;
 
  4. Legal Force & Violence, which the FBI & police threatened,
     instigated & themselves conducted break-ins, vandalism,
     assaults & beatings. The objective was to frighten
     dissidents & distrupt their movements.
 
     These tactics are still being used against dissidents today,
such as the late Judi Berri, Alcee Hastings, Marion Berry, C.
Vernon Mason, Alton Maddox, Steven Jackson & Susan McDougal, just
to name a few. With all this documented evidence that was
gathered by the us government itself & for you elected servants
to have sealed lips concerning these violations is criminal to
say the least. For this government to continue to seek the return
of Assata Shakur & continue to hold Sundiata Acoli kaptive for
some 25 years, is evident enough, that *COINTELPRO* still exsist
and in full operation. In your call for Assata Shakur's return,
you fail to address the illegal covert actions of *COINTELPRO*,
which Assata was a target of. There is numerous documentation
revealing *COINTELPRO*, i would like to also suggest to you to
read this government congressional hearings of the Church
Committee Report exposing *COINTELPRO*.
 
     Assata Shakur fled this kountry in fear for her live by
amerika's notorious *Jack Booted Thugs* (all agents of US
government), yet you never let roll from your lips these illegal
covert operations against the Black Liberation Movement of the
1960's, which Assata Shakur, Sundiata Acoli, The New York 3, The
Ohio 7, Marilyn Buck, Susan Rosenberg, Silvia Baraldini, Ruchell
Magee, Sekou Odinga, Dr. Mutulu Shakur & hundreds of other
political prisoners & prisoners of war who fell victim to the
infamous *COINTELPRO*. This is disingenuous to say the least,
however, we understand this is the amerikan way. We will continue
to pressure elected servants concerning this issue and will not
rest until it is addressed & all political prisoners & prisoners
of war are released from amerikas' konkentration kamps. We will
no longer allow any elected servant to continue to pimp us, we
will use our economic power in search for justice in this kountry
& our voting power to remove any & all elected servants that are
not operating in our best interest. i look forward to your prompt
response.
