                  INTRODUCTION TO THE HATEWATCH DATA

Several groups of leftists have charged that anti-fascist activists
exaggerate the depth and intensity of fascist organizing today. Some
launch a series of "everything including the kitchen sink" attacks on
anti-fascist organizing in order to wreck the organizing drives.
Individuals and groups involved in these processes include John Dewey
Holmes and Robert Malecki (both sympathetic to the Spartacist League),
David Stevens (supporting the "Trotsky, Sex, and Drugs" group), and
several supporters of what was once the Revolutionary Communist Party
in the United Kingdom.[1]

It would be a significant error to permit these people to dominate
anti-fascist strategy or to permit their attacks to consume large
amounts of organizing resources.

But normal anti-fascism involves presenting accurate data about the
nature, politics, size, and activity of different fascist groups.

One can thus disprove the attacks by those attempting to destroy anti-
fascist actions without getting involved in detailed and time-wasting
polemics with the wreckers. One merely points out that the data
disproves their assertions.

The pointers and descriptions below, taken from the HateWWatch web site
does so.[2] HateWatch is becoming one of the best anti-fascist sites on
the web, specializing in documenting hate-oriented activity as the
Nizkor site specializes in documenting and countering Holocaust
Revisionism.
