Rally in Albany and urge Governor Pataki to
negotiate a second New York/New York
Agreement to create 10,000 units of housing
for mentally-ill New Yorkers who are homeless
or of housing for mentally-ill New Yorkers who are
homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Over 100 organizations statewide -- including
housing providors, mental health organizations,
homeless advocacy groups, and mental-health
consumers -- have endorsed the Campaign.

who is running for NYS Attorney General vs Dennis Vacco
is a great friend of the Mentally-ill and social service orgs and
concerned families.
Catherine Abate has already attended a rally in front
of Pataki's office demanding more housing for
mentally-ill New Yorkers.
Catherine Abate did a lotta work for mentally-ill people
in Rikers when she ran Rikers Island Prison to make sure
we were treated humanely and got the proper medications
etc.
My personal vote as a mental health consumer is for
Catherine Abate for Attorney General -- the only person I'd trust
to make those Medicaid/Medicare Managed Care Executives
behave themselves.
