Bad news.
Warren George of Stoney Point was found gulity of three charges:
Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
Criminal negligence causing bodily harm
Assault with a weapon (a car)
He has been found guilty for attempting to save the life of Bernard
George
who was being brutally beaten by the Ontario Provincal Police on the
night
of September 6, 1995.
That same night of September 6, 1995. Warren's Cousin, Anthony O'[Brien
"Dudley" George was shot to death by the O.P.P. officer Kenneth Deane
who
was found guilty of criminal negligence causing death.
This verdit is completely unjust. Warren George has been isolated by to
police and the crown to get at least one conviction. Over 100 charges
have
been laid by the O.P.P. against the Stoney Point People the majority
have
been either dropped or they have been acquited.
Warren George's trial was a sham the crown brought in a new judge to
hear
the case and many previous witnesses for Stoney Point did not give
testimony.
The next step is the sentencing. It is critical that anyone who has
ever
supported the Stoeny Point People renew their committment to oppose the
guilty verdict and fight against any jail sentence.
This is a political conviction and if Warren George goes to jail he
will be
a POLITICAL PRISONER!
