Korean worker burns himself to death
Seoul(Friday, Feb 13) -
A worker against layoffs has burned himself to death this
afternoon 12:20.
Choi Daerim (born in 1957), Daewoo heavy industries trade
union member has burned himself and leapt down from the deck
to death on the spot in the 1st dock of Keoje Okpo shipward.
He scatted the printed matter - "To union comrades" and
sprinkled thinner himself, which contains "... to fellow
union members, join together the general strike of KCTU,
if all millions of worker fight in a body following the
leadership of KCTU, the layoffs and manpower agencies system
could be obstructed..."
May his soul rest in the emancipated world...
