THE SEATTLE OFFICE OF THE FREE WOLVERINE CAMPAIGN

LAWYER FOR WOLVERINE AND OJ REQUIRES IMMEDIATE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Emminent Native-rights lawyer Dr. Bruce Clark has received notice that his
annual license fee to practice law is due IMMEDIATELY (today, May 1, 1998).
Dr. Bruce Clark is the counsel of choice of Native political prisoners
Wolverine and OJ Pitawanakwat.  The amount due is $774.68.

PLEASE HELP DEFEND NATIVE SOVEREIGNTY BY ASSISTING IN THE PAYMENT OF DR. BRUCE
CLARK'S ANNUAL LICENSE FEE.  ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY WILL BE APPRECIATED.  NO
DONATION IS TOO SMALL.

PRACTICE LAW WILL BE SUSPENDED!!!****

Wolverine and OJ are being held as political prisoners in British Columbia,
Canada, for their role in the 1995 defense of unceded, Indian land in the
territory of the Shuswap Nation.  Both were illegally convicted by the
colonial courts of Canada in July 1997.  Their appeal is expected to be heard
sometime this summer by Canada's Supreme Court.

Wolverine and OJ, along with their lawyer Dr. Bruce Clark will be arguing the
'jurisdiction position,' and it's relevance to indigenous sovereignty, FOR THE
FIRST TIME IN NORTH AMERICAN HISTORY!  The 'jurisdiction position' states that
according to the Royal Proclamation of 1763, as well as Canada's own
constitution, Canada has no right in unceded Native lands, and no right to
interfere with the affairs of sovereign Indigenous Nations, such as the
Shuswap Nation.
